Kopp Drug, Inc. operates a chain of drugstores in the Altoona area.  In addition to a full service pharmacy, Kopp also offers convenience and gift items at each store. For this project, the owner wanted a more distinctive exterior than their other stores and were dissatisfied with the architect's initial design. I decided to accentuate the corner of the building and provide a space for the store logo facing both Valley View Boulevard and Seventh Street, adding sloped roofs and simple decorative tile elements.
